Prescription weight loss medications have been around for sometime, with different companies coming out with different formulas for loosing weight efficiently and easily. They all seem very promising and very effective albeit for a short time only. However out of all the companies, only a very few are selected to become prescribed medications. To have prescription drugs, you have to be under medical supervision. To know if you’re eligible for weight loss medications, you need to consult your doctor, however, there are two kinds of people who are eligible for these drugs.
The first kind is for the people who have a body mass index (BMI) of greater than 30 and do not have any obesity-related disease, such as heart attacks, blood pressure etc.
The other kind is for people who have BMI of greater than 27, this time related with any kind of particular obesity disease.
